WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT ?
Nowadays, our world is facing to one of the most emergency problem: Climate Change. It is not only affected to our human life but also affected to the wildlife outside. Then WE need to do something...Because the problem called Climate Change is not the personal problem of anyone, it is our problem, a global problem. What kind of things WE know about the climate change nowaday, how it affected to the our planet and the wildlife. Then do WE need to share it with everyone and together solve it or just keep it in mind. And if WE choose to share, how do WE act, what kind of action we can make in order to protect those species that are most affected by the Climate Change.
WITH "WE" EXHIBITION
Surrounded by nature, mountains and forests, where the sun shines through a giant glass dome. The greenhouse effect is the inspiration for the building's architecture. The exhibition itself has 4 areas which featured type of animals that are being most affected by the Climate Change.
SPOT WHAT'S INSIDE ?
LIFE OF MAMMALS ON LAND
* Asian Elephants habitat is being negatively impacted by both decreased rainfall and rising temperatures.
* The bamboo forests that Pandas rely on for their diets may be unable to survive in these higher elevations which can cause food scarcity for the Pandas.
LIFE ON ARTIC
* Polar Bear and Penguin are both losing their habitat and need to migrate closer to inside land because of the melting ice then the sea level rises. This affect to their survival.
LIFE OF INSECTS
* Butterflies are really sensitive to the weather patterns and their habitat temperature. They depend on environmental cues to trigger reproduction, migration, and hibernation.
* Rising temperatures are forcing Bumblebee populations further north to cooler climates. These temperature changes are also causing spring flowers to bloom earlier, leaving less time for the Bees to pollinate them.
LIFE UNDER WATER
* Whales rely on specific ocean temperatures for their migration, feeding, and reproduction. As temperatures rise, their survival becomes threatened.
* Temperature affects the gender of turtles when incubated in eggs. This poses a serious threat to their reproductive ability and survival as a species.
